Jochen Tilk joined Inmet in 1988, and was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in November 2009. He is a mining engineer and holds a masters degree in engineering from the University of Aachen, Germany.
Mr. Tilk has held positions of increasing responsibility since joining Inmet. He was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer in February, 2005, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer in June 2003 and joined the executive team in March 1999 as Vice-President, Technical Services. Before that, he was President of Copper Range Company and General Manager at our Winston Lake mine.
D. James Slattery
Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer
Years with Inmet: 4
James Slattery joined Inmet in June 2005. He is a Canadian chartered accountant.
Before joining Inmet, he held various senior management roles, including the positions of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Wescast Industries, and Chief Financial Officer for Canadian General – Tower Limited, a privately owned manufacturing business.
Steve Astritis
Vice-President, General Counsel and Secretary
Years with Inmet: 9
Steve Astritis joined Inmet in 2001. He was previously Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at Noranda Inc.
Before joining Noranda, he was with a Toronto business law firm. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1988.
Frank Balint
Vice-President, Corporate Development
Years with Inmet: 32
Frank Balint has worked with Inmet and its predecessor companies since 1978 and was appointed to his current position in January 2000.
Mr. Balint is a licensed member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicist of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut and the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario.
Craig Ford
Vice-President, People and Environment
Years with Inmet: 10
Craig Ford joined Inmet in 2000 and was appointed to his current position in July 2008. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Safety, Environment and Community Affairs. He has a Ph.D. in geology from the Colorado School of Mines.
Before joining Inmet, Dr. Ford was Technical Manager, Environmental Affairs at Cyprus Climax Metals Company.
Scott Herr
Vice-President, Mining
Years with Inmet: 4
Scott Herr joined Inmet as Director, Mining in January 2006 and was appointed Vice-President, Mining in January 2007. He is a registered professional engineer.
Before joining Inmet, he held various management roles in the mining industry. More recently, Mr. Herr worked in a consulting capacity with McIntosh Engineering, providing construction management services on various mining-related projects.
Wendy Kaufman
Vice-President, Finance
Years with Inmet: 16
Wendy Kaufman joined Inmet in 1994 and was appointed to her current position in February 2005. She is a Canadian chartered accountant.
Ms. Kaufman has held positions of increasing responsibility since joining the company. Before joining Inmet, she worked at Arthur Andersen, Chartered Accountants.
Fernando Martinez-Caro Vice-President, Engineering and Infrastructure

Fernando Martinez-Caro joined Inmet as Director, Projects in August 2008. He has an MSc in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and an executive MBA from IESE Business School.
Mr. Martinez-Caro brings extensive experience in Engineering and Project Management of large infrastructure projects in North America, UK and Spain. Prior to joining Inmet, he was Managing Director of Ferrovial Agroman for North America.
Ian D. Pirie
Vice-President, Projects
Years with Inmet: 30
Ian Pirie has worked with Inmet and its predecessor companies since 1980 and was appointed to his current position in May 2005. Before that he was Director, Corporate Development. He is a Professional Geoscientist registered in Ontario and British Columbia.
Mr. Pirie has held a variety of positions, including General Manager, Latin America (based in Chile) and various positions in Inmet’s exploration group in Vancouver, Thunder Bay and Winnipeg.

Iain Anderson
Managing Director, Çayeli Bakir Isletmeleri

Iain Anderson was appointed to his current position in July 2010. He is responsible for implementing Inmet’s strategy and objectives in Turkey and is also a member of Çayeli’s board of directors.
Drawing on a professional career that extends over 25 years, Mr. Anderson brings with him extensive hands-on engineering, maintenance and operational experience. Mr. Anderson started his career in 1985 as an engineer in the shipping industry. He moved to the mining industry in 1998 when he joined Waihi Gold Mine in New Zealand as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer. During the past 11 years, Mr. Anderson has worked in various mining-related roles of increasing responsibility including positions held at the Ovacik Gold Mine in Turkey, at Zarafshan Newmont in Uzbekistan and as General Manager at Crew Gold’s LEFA Corridor Gold Project in West Africa, Guinea. In January 2009, Mr. Anderson joined Çayeli in the role of Maintenance Manager.
Mr. Anderson obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marine Engineering from the Australian Maritime College in 1989 and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Adelaide in 1998.
François FleuryManaging Director, Cobre Las Cruces, S.A.

François Fleury was appointed to his current position in July 2005 and has been responsible for the construction, commissioning, and start up of the Las Cruces operation. Having achieved first copper in June 2009, Mr. Fleury is now responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day management of operations and administration at Las Cruces and is also a member of Las Cruces’ board of directors.
Mr. Fleury joined Inmet in 1994 as the General Manager of Troilus. He was involved in managing the design and construction of the project and overseeing the day-to-day operations, including the expanded mill capacity and the expansion of a second active pit in 2002. Before joining Inmet, he spent over 15 years with Quebec Cartier Mining Company and was appointed Assistant General Manager of their Mount-Wright operation in 1992.
Mr. Fleury received a Bachelor of Science degree in unified engineering from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi.
Kimmo Luukkonen
Managing Director, Pyhäsalmi Mine Oy

Kimmo Luukkonen was appointed to his current position in June 2009. He is responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day management of operations and administration at Pyhäsalmi and is also a member of Pyhäsalmi’s board of directors.
Mr. Luukkonen brings with him a wealth of mining and managerial expertise drawn from over 24 years experience within the industry. He started his career with the Outokumpu Group in 1985, where he spent over 18 years at positions of increasing responsibility at various operations. In 1998, Outokumpu appointed Mr. Luukkonen to the role of Project Manager at Pyhäsalmi to oversee the new mine expansion and the construction of the Timo shaft. In 2004, Mr. Luukkonen joined Inmet as the Manager, Mine Operations at Çayeli Bakir Isletmeleri, where he was instrumental in leading the operation during its expansion.
Mr. Luukkonen holds a masters degree in engineering from Helsinki University of Technology. He is a member of the Finnish Association of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers.
Ernest Mast
President / Chief Executive Officer, Minera Panamá S.A.

Ernest Mast was appointed to his current position in May 2009. He is responsible for managing the planning, direction and coordination of all activities in Panama to ensure the overall successful development of the Cobre Panama Project. He is also a member of MPSA’s board of directors.
With a career spanning 24 years in the mining industry, Mr. Mast is an experienced executive who brings with him substantial leadership experience in operations, acquisitions, community development, and continuous improvement initiatives. In September 2003, Mr. Mast was appointed to the position of President and General Manager at Xstrata Nickel’s Falcondo project in the Dominican Republic. Prior to that, he worked for Noranda-Falconbridge in their South American Copper Business Unit from 1996 to 2003 in various capacities of increasing responsibility.
Mr. Mast is a registered Professional Engineer with a Masters Degree in Metallurgical Engineering. He is fluent in Spanish and French and obtained the Six Sigma Brown Belt in 2003.
Ian Morrison
General Manager, Exploration

Ian Morrison has worked with Inmet and its predecessor companies since 1988 and was appointed to his current position in April 2004.
Mr. Morrison is a licensed member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. He is also a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada.
Sunny Lowe
Director, Global Taxation and Compliance
Years with Inmet: 4
Sunny Lowe joined Inmet in December 2005 and was appointed to her current position in May 2007. Prior to that she was Director, Business Systems and Controls. She is a Canadian chartered accountant and holds a masters degree in business administration from Schulich School of Business.
Before joining Inmet, Ms. Lowe was Senior Manager, Audit Services at BC Hydro
Zeki Sayilir
Director, Marketing
Years with Inmet: 16
Zeki Sayilir was appointed Director, Marketing in June 2006 and is responsible for leading Inmet’s marketing and sales of copper and zinc concentrates, copper cathode, gold doré and pyrite.
Mr. Sayilir joined Inmet in January 1994 as Marketing and Sales Manager at our Çayeli operations where he was responsible for marketing the copper and zinc concentrates produced there. Before joining Inmet, he worked in the mining industry as a market researcher for boron minerals and aluminium.
Mr. Sayilir graduated from Istanbul Technical University in 1985 as a metallurgical engineer. He also has a masters degree in business administration from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Cheryl Smith
Director, Human Resources
Years with Inmet: 10
Cheryl Smith joined Inmet in 2000 and was appointed to her current position in July 2004. She is a certified human resources professional (CHRP) and has a diploma in business administration – human resources management from George Brown College.
Before joining Inmet, Ms. Smith was Compensation and Benefits Specialist at Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc.
Stuart Tevendale
Director of Finance, Operations Controller
Years with Inmet: 16
Stuart Tevendale joined Inmet in 1994 and was appointed Director, Operations Finance in September 2005. Prior to that he was Treasurer. He is a Canadian certified general accountant and has a masters degree in business administration from Athabasca University.
From 1998 to 2003, he was Commercial and Finance Manager at Çayeli and previously held various positions in corporate finance at Inmet’s head office.
Josh Truyens
Director of Finance, Financial Controller
Years with Inmet: 2
Josh Truyens joined Inmet in 2007 as Manager, Financial Reporting and was appointed to his current position in January 2008. He is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Ryerson University.
Before joining Inmet, Mr. Truyens was Manager in the assurance practice at Ernst & Young LLP.

Shelton Yip
Director, Corporate Development and Investor Relations

Shelton Yip joined Inmet in 2006 and was appointed to the current position in January 2010. He has a B.A.Sc. in geological engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University.
Before joining Inmet, Mr. Yip was a mining analyst at Research Capital.
